What is the Just William film and book series all about:
Well William Brown is a scruffy eleven-year-old boy.
William and his friends, Ginger, Henry and Douglas, are called 'The outlaws' and have a gangs den at a barn in Farmer Jenks field.
William is obviously the leader of the gang and The Outlaws are sworn enemies of the Hubert Lane-ites who they often have run-ins with.
Ginger is William's best friend and is as reckless. He takes over the lead of 'the outlaws' when William is not around.
Henry is the wiser one of 'The Outlaws', Never without the vital detail the Outlaws need in crucial times and is the eldest of the outlaws.
Douglas, Is the negative one but is an amazing speller in english grammer( he can't actually spell anything) but the rest of the gang thinks he can.
Together they have some great fun games and adventures, getting into scrapes and tricky situations but always managing to get themselves just about back on track. Always a little naughty but never over the top its pure boy child innocence played to the best.
William's family.
Ethel is his sister. Robert his older brother.
His mother seems to understand William the most and his father gives a sterness from the age the books were written.
Classic books for kids and adults to enjoy. Plus many television series have been filmed in almost every decade most recently in 2010 on the BBC in England.
