Murder: In The Dark

cut out slips of paper that matches the amount of people who are at the party. Mark one slip with an 'x' and one slip with a 'o' the rest leave blank.

fold all of the slips of paper up and place them in a hat or bowl. Each player draws a slip of paper, the player who draws the 'x' is the fiendish murderer but must not tell anyone. The player who draws the 'o' is the detective and must tell all the players.

Now everyone except the detective finds some where in the house to stay, like hide and seek but without the hiding. Now turn all the lights off in the house to create the haunted mansion effect.

Now the murderer must tour the house to discover his victims, when the murderer does come across a victim he must grab them and whisper

'YOUR DEAD'.

now the victim at this point gives of a blood curdling scream and dramatically fakes his own death..... and the murderer rushes away from the scene of the crime.

The detective hereing the dramatic scream of death turns the lights back on and rushes to the scene of the crime. Everyone must stay where they are except the detective.

Once the detective has discovered the body he must start his questioning of the suspects. The only question the detective can not ask is

'Are You The Murderer'.

The detective asks questions and everyone must answer truthfully except the murderer who can tell the biggest pack of lies they can think of so not to get caught.

The detective must use all his powers of deduction to try and identify the murderer by watching everyones faces as he questions them. Once they have finished the questioning the detective gets three chances to correctly identify the murderer.

If he fails the murderer wins and owns up.

The game can also be played in one room. To do this turn the light out and the murderer must (In The Dark) find as many people as possible and tap them on the shoulder. The victims give off the same blood curdling scream and fall to the ground. The other players on hereing the screams shout 'murder in the dark' and dash to turn the lights on. The Vampire Murders:

Everyone stands in a circle, one player is chosen to be the vampire hunter and leaves the room. When the vampire hunter has left choose who is going to be the vampire. Allow the vampire hunter to come back into the room and stand in the middle of the circle of players.

Now the vampire must kill as many people as possible in the circle without being caught by the vampire hunter. The way this is done is the vampire, when the vampire hunter is not looking, shows his fangs to someone in the circle.

If a player sees the vampire bare his dastardly fangs he must die, faking there death by acting out a ghastly scary death with lingering scary screams, or they can simply and dramatically slump to the floor dead from the vampires teeth.

The vampire hunter must try to watch carefully and catch the vampire as he bares his ghoulish teeth to one of the players.

The vampire hunter is allowed three guesses as to who is the blood sucking vampire killing of the circle of players.

Time Is Ticking: Count Dracula

All the players stand at one end of the room with Count Dracula at the other, his back to the other players.

The players Shout: 'What's the time, Count Dracula?' Count Dracula shouts back a time, such as '4 o'clock my human prey'.

The players now take the corresponding number of steps in the direction of the Count. When the players get close to Count Dracula he shouts 'Witches Hour'. Dracula then chases the other players until he catches one. Yep, yet another halloween games idea thats a true classic.
